About Us.

The Troutstream Hall Trust, is a registered charity (Registration No: 248297) that since 1956 has offered a safe and homely environment for elderly persons of both sexes.
Although our home is registered as a Residential Care Home and not a Nursing Home, every effort is made with local Doctors and district nurses to let our residents remain here till the end of their days.

We have a variety of equipment that helps our carers to assist the less able, and we aim to maintain dignity at all times and in all situations.

We believe that it is important for our residents to live out their lives with dignity. In addition we believe that variety, and freedom of choice in their daily activities are important in helping promote healthy living. To enable this we run daily activities and games, as well as trips out that our residents are free to join in if they wish.

We run an open house and visitors are most welcome. We only ask that meal times are avoided if possible, and that visitors leave by 21:30
