Our Staff.
Our staff are ably led by our Home Manager Karen Steffe (far
left front row, in picture). Having previously worked in the care sector for many years,
Karen joined Troutstream Hall in 1996, working firstly as a senior carer and then progressing to head of care where she worked
successfully in this position for some time. Karen was appointed Manager in April 2002. Having already gained the necessary
experience and the Registered Managers Award, and an N.V.Q. level 4 in care Management Qualification.
Both of these Awards comply with the National Care Standards Act.
Since 2007, Jackie Marks (front row, centre in picture) has been our deputy manager. She has worked in the care sector for the last 14 years,
and is at present undertaking her N.V.Q level 4

Our Night Manager Ros Powell, (front row, 2nd from left in
picture)ensures the smooth running of the home during night
shifts.
Our Senior Carers Barbara, Pat, Sarah, and Lucy are highly experienced within the care sector.
(Barbara, and Pat are front row, 4th and 5th from left in the
picture, whilst Sarah is far left, back row).
As well as regular supervision, they are all required to undertake regular training updates.
All of our Senior Carers have completed their NVQ levels 2 or 3.
All our current care staff (Michelle and Margaret are pictured
back row), have relevant care experience. Most have worked within the home for many years. For all our staff, we have a
comprehensive induction system, as well as regular in-house training on all aspects of care. In addition,
all of our carers
are studying for, or have completed, N.V.Q. level 2.
